CORE Water Management Solutions, based in Brisbane, Queensland merges with SAS Water Solutions to become SASCORE Water Solutions, under the SAS Solutions Group entity.

CORE Water Management Solutions Pty Ltd (CORE) has been operating successfully in Queensland, Victoria, and Fiji since 2003. During that time CORE has built a reputation for its strong, reliable innovative quality and technical approach, working closely with our customers to provide both chemical and mechanical Total Water Management solutions.
Over the past 18 months CORE has reviewed our current operating structure leading us to identify the need to expand our engineering capability; we have also assessed other future market requirements for water and energy sustainability, supporting our Total Water Management approach on customers sites.
Since August 2021
CORE has been in discussion with SAS Water Solutions (“SAS”), based in Sydney, NSW and Canberra. SAS have also been operating since 2003 but in slightly different market sectors, mainly commercial building services HVAC (heating ventilation and air-conditioning), for all the major hospitals, health services, commercial high rise and Defence. In addition to this market, SAS has an in-house Engineering Department who design and build tailored engineered wastewater re-use systems, and packaged plant for potable drinking and sewage treatment plants. To complement the design team, SAS also has a dedicated Engineering Services Team who build, install, commission, and carry out planned & reactive operations & maintenance on these plants.
As the working relationship developed, it was evident the combined technical & operational expertise would not only greatly benefit each entity, but also better serve our wide customer bases in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim and therefore, the opportunity for CORE to join forces with SAS occurred.
Greg Treasure and David Tauti announces
It brings great pleasure for Greg Treasure and David Tauti to announce that CORE have decided to enter into a definitive merger agreement with SAS Water Solutions, increasing our capabilities within the Water industry.
The merger with SAS, further strengthens our position in the industrial and commercial markets in Australia and NZ. The combination of SAS’s capabilities, specifically their engineering projects team – who – combined with CORE’s expertise in the industrial process water markets, will provide our customers with a single point contact for all water treatment needs. This partnership is also expected to provide greater operating efficiencies to significantly increase the value of our deliverable services.
As with all important business decisions, we will work closely with our clients, partners, and employees to make the integration process as smooth as possible. Effective immediately, CORE Water Management Solutions has changed our name to SASCORE Water Solutions Pty Ltd and will be headed up by our newly formed Executive Leadership Team, consisting of Andy Dowdeswell as Managing Director, Greg Treasure as National Technical Services Director, David Tauti as National Business Development Director, Wendy Blackadder as National Human Resource Manager and Prasanna Jayaweera as Group Financial Controller/Company Secretary.
The integration of both companies will take place over the coming months. Of course, in the meantime and ongoing in the future, our customers will continue to receive the same high-quality products and services which they have come to expect.
SAS in NSW and ACT will continue to operate as SAS Water Solutions under the SAS Solutions Group banner.
