SAS Water was awarded the Sublime Point water treatment plant by Wollongong Council under a tendering process. The treatment plant includes river water pumping, storage, treatment, transfer and monitoring systems. The water collection, storage and treatment system supplies potable water via an automatic WTP capable of providing a minimum 35kL treated water daily. The water treatment system is designed to produce up to 4.4 m3/hr of potable water and has the capacity to maintain this output rate. The potable water quality is classified under the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and conforms to the relevant Australian Standards, NSW Health Requirement and NSW Health Drinking Water Monitoring Program.

The treatment plant uses a combination of physical and chemical processes to treat water pumping from Loddon Creek Pump Station stored in two new raw water tanks. Treated water is stored in new potable water tanks which is distributed by gravity to Sublime Point, Panorama House, Cliffhanger and recently opened Southern Gateway.
