Project Overview:
EnviroPacific Services was awarded a contract to decontaminate the former Wagga Wagga Gasworks site.Part of the contract included the treatment of Groundwater leachate and stormwater.

The plant was sized for a peak flow of 36m³/h.

The treated water had to meet some stringent criteria prior to discharging to the adjacent Murrumbidgee river.

Due to high concentrations in Ammonia, air stripping and multiple passes of zeolite filtration were used to reduce the treated water ammonia concentration.GAC was used to remove traces of Hydrocarbons and colour.
Key Benefits:
The plant was successfully delivered to the client and met the expectations. Most of the equipment was installed in containers and flat racks for future site remediation projects.
